W. James Condry enthusiastically brings over 33 years of legal experience to The Mediation Group. For more than 16 years, he served as a Judge of Compensation Claims in the Orlando District Office where he presided over industrial claims originating in Orange, Seminole, Lake and Osceola Counties. Before his appointment as a workers’ compensation Judge he successfully prosecuted claims representing injured workers, employers, carriers and third party administrators for over 12 years. In 1992, he was a founding partner in the insurance defense firm Broussard, Condry, and Willett, P.A.
Mr. Condry is rated AV preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell and he is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Circuit Civil Mediator. A longstanding member of the Florida and Orange County Bar Associations, he has also been admitted to practice before the United States Court of Military Review, the United States Court of Military Appeals and the United States District Court Middle District of Florida. He honorably served his country as an officer with the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps and he has litigated matters associated with insurance company receiverships for the Division of Rehabilitation and Liquidation of the Florida Department of Insurance. Mr. Condry received his B.S., his M.S. and his J.D. degrees from Florida State University. Mr. Condry also practices with the Insurance defense firm of Jones Hurley and Hand, PA in Orlando.
